About

The Department of Humanities and Basic Sciences (HBS) is a prime department in Aditya College of Engineering and Technology. The department is a fusion of fundamental subjects – English, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. The primary goal of the department is to imbibe the fundamentals of the subjects to lay a foundation for engineering education in the students. The students are taught and trained by a well experienced and expertise faculty providing the learners an opportunity to acquire knowledge through hands on approach at smart classrooms and well established laboratories. Besides academics the Department is actively involved in the development of students’ personality, communication and soft skills to boost them in the modern and globally competitive environment

As a fundamental department supporting all branches in I year of engineering, emphasis is laid on basics of sciences and engineering along with Humanities. Furthermore, it deals with applications of basic sciences in engineering discipline covering all the major domains of technology.
